I know the plans
Jeremiah 29:11 is a famous promise from God to Israel during their exile in Babylon, stating: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (NIV)
As we start 2026, the future is unknown to us. Where will we travel, who will we meet, or what situations will we find ourselves in? However, the Lord reassures us in Isaiah 46:4 “I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. “(NIV)
So let us embrace the New Year with a grateful heart and renewed spirit.
