Visitor moorings on London’s Canals, the River Lee Navigation and Docklands
British Waterways will be offering pre-booked visitor moorings at key locations across London for boaters interested in coming to London during the summer of 2012. These are likely to include simple towpath moorings on the Capital's canals at Paddington, Little Venice, Camden, King's Cross, Islington, Mile End Park, Victoria Park and Hackney Marshes on the River Lee. There will also be both unserviced and serviced berths in the Millwall Docks in Docklands, accessed from the River Thames via West India Lock.
You will be able to browse, book and pay for a mooring online using Waterscape's web-based booking system, follow links below, which is scheduled to go live in April 2011 to coincide with ticket applications for the Games themselves.
If you haven’t already registered, do so now and you will automatically be emailed when the system goes live. Moorings will be available on a first come first served basis.
